Crew, Tanzgruppe aus Klagenfurt, Spittal/Drau, Villach, Salzburg, Wien, Lienz, Graz, Weißensee (Österreich)
Funky Monkez ist eine in Kärnten ansässige Urban Dance Crew, deren Mitglieder aus verschiedenen Nationen stammen. In ihren Shows finden die unterschiedlichsten Tanzstile wie Breaking, Hip Hop Freestyle, Popping, , Locking, House & Waacking ihren Platz. Doch nicht nur mit ihren Showprogrammen sind sie auf nationalen Bühnen vertreten. Auf Wettbewerben, den sogenannten Battles, sind sie sehr erfolgreich und bereits über die Grenzen Österreichs hinaus bekannt. Den Monkez liegt die Förderung der urbanen Tanzszene und der Hip Hop Kultur in Kärnten besonders am Herzen. Dazu tragen sowohl ihre Shows, Workshops und Organisation von Jams und Battles als auch der Aufbau von Nachwuchstänzern bei.
